There are four things you can bet on happening in Livingston Parish 1. More Dollar General stores will be built. 2. Politicians will put new taxes on the ballot every year. 3. Elected officials will never let temporary taxes to build buildings and roads end. They will always put them up for renewal. 4. If a tax is rejected by the voters they will put in on the ballot again and again until it passes. I am sure there is more than these four items if anyone would like to add to them.

I wonder why a certain elementary school in Walker will not be having any “Polar Express” activities this year? Is it because last year a student got run over by train? Is it because the school and the school board covered it up? Is it because the town of Walker doesn’t want to be held liable? So many questions ...
