If you’re in search for an inexpensive piece of art, the Arts Council has a few items just for you — approximately 100 of them.

The Arts Council of Livingston Parish recently opened its “100 Under 100” exhibit that will run throughout the months of November and December.

Artists of various mediums have filled the gallery with 100 items priced under $100, as well as a few items over, for the upcoming holiday shopping season. Patrons will have until Dec. 22 to take advantage of the special deal while supporting 17 local artists.

The “100 Under 100” exhibit began on Saturday, Nov. 3, and is open to the public from 10 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday.

A reception will take place on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the gallery, located at 133 Hummell Street in Denham Springs. Artists will be present, and light refreshments will be served.
