Courtney Melissa Pittman and Blane Edward Roy are pleased to announce their marriage.
The wedding ceremony took place on October 6, 2018, at Broadmoor United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge, with Rev. Ken Carroll officiating.
The bride’s parents are Eric and Geri Pittman, and her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Eric Pittman of Hammond, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Mike Lushute of Port Allen.
The groom's parents are Carl and Jouana Roy, and his grandparents are the late Mr. W.M. King Jr., Mrs. Shirley King of Watson, the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Roy, and the late Mrs. Lou Roy of Baton Rouge.
Caitlyn Avara of Central served as the Matron of Honor, and Mallory Stout of Luling was the Maid of Honor. Kayla Reed was a bridesmaid.
The groom’s two best men were Jeff Farmer of Central and Mike Plauche of Livingston, and his groomsmen were Justin Plauche of Livingston and Matt Pogue of Denham Springs.
The ushers were Ty Roy and Brannon Roy.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Dr. Dona Lusted.
The reception was at Lake House Reception Center in Baton Rouge.
The bride and groom enjoyed a honeymoon in the Bahamas.
