Let’s call this the missing councilman, “Mr. Keen, you seemed to be more concerned about a raise than the people you represent. No one in our area has seen you after the flood off of Crossover Road or off of Dunn Road. Some have sent emails and calls about a subdivision off of Dunn by Mt. Olive Church which says it will have over 70 lots for homes. This property also contains a pipeline. They had almost 3 feet of water come across the property during the flood. Yes, many homes were flooded. This will cause more of a problem if this is approved. The water will back up more because this would have to be built up. But the people in this area understand you are more concerned with your pocket than the people. Seems like old times!

Report: Susan Rice ordered “unmasking” of Trump campaign associates. Hmm. Hey, didn’t she work for Obama? Didn’t he say he was proud he had no scandals? I wonder what he knew? Hmm.

I am so tired of hearing people whining that they didn’t have flood insurance because they didn’t have to buy it since they don’t live in a flood zone. You live in Louisiana, the most flood-prone state in the country! It’s common sense people!

“Immigration laws are the only laws that are discussed in terms of how to help people who break them.” Thomas Sowell

If you’ve ever doubted whether or not to vote for liberal Democrats, here you go: New children’s book portrays Santa as a gay black man in an interracial marriage. If these moon bats ever get the power back, kiss it goodbye. It’s bad enough they control our school system that dares our kids to be conservative.

So Edward wants to raise taxes on small businesses and anyone making $140K or more. I wonder who gave him the idea that people who do can handle more burdens. Most people I know who have small businesses or who earn $140,000 or more are already struggling to pay their healthcare, college for kids and cost of living in general because we get nothing for free like the leeches in our state. I guess these ideas come from the traditional class envy of the rich Democratic Party who play like they’re poor.

Wow, The Donald’s approval rating this week is lower than Nixon during Watergate, Reagan during the Contra arms sale to Iran, and Dubya’s approval ratings after Katrina - not that anyone would be surprised by this.

I know the people who support a women’s right to choose are afraid Roe v Wade might one day be reversed. Women need to be assured that they do have the right to have relations when and with who they want. They just need to remember if they do they could create another human like them that they cannot have killed for the sake of an inconvenience. In January, 60 percent of Americans told Pew Research Center they believe the government has a responsibility to ensure health care access. That figure tracks with a 2015 Kaiser Health poll, which revealed that 58 percent of voters supported some version of Medicare for every American.

Did anyone hear that loud boom? That was just Trump smashing Obama EPA’s policy’s. Sounded good didn’t it?

The world’s largest humanitarian crisis in 70 years has been declared in three African countries on the brink of famine, just as President Donald Trump’s proposed foreign aid cuts threaten to pull the United States from its historic role as the world’s top emergency donor. How can we be the most charitable nation on Earth? I thought the libs say we’re bad and stingy.

My dad grew up dirt poor, just like a vast majority of families that lived around him. Thankfully, he was able to join the Civilian Conservation Corps like millions of other young men during the depression, and develop skills and experience that would benefit him in life. He was drafted during WWll and served in France, Belgium, and Germany. He served with the 100th Infantry Division during the Battle of the Bulge. He went to trade school, became a journeyman electrician under the GI Bill, bought his first home with a VA loan, married and raised three boys. All three of us were drafted, served our country attended college and/or graduate school, and purchased our homes under the same GI Bill. We repaid the taxpayer-funded benefits we received many times over through federal and state income taxes. Six of my dad’s eight grandchildren have at least one degree, and the other two graduated from trade school and became journeymen electricians just like him. Sure, government programs can work - if you get out of bed and make an effort.

Donald Trump now wants Congress to investigate Hillary for selling our uranium to the Russians. This is -- more Trump’s fake news! This is what MarketWatch, a subsidiary of Dow Jones had to say about that transaction. President Trump, there’s a very good reason Congress isn’t investigating Hillary Clinton’s “big uranium deal” with Russia. It’s because the story is absolute c--p — as you well know. No, Hillary Clinton didn’t “sell America’s uranium.” She didn’t own it, or control it, and never had. This entire accusation is a farce. In 2010 the stockholders of a Canadian mining company, Uranium One, accepted a bid from the Russian nuclear-energy agency, Rosatom, for a majority of their shares. They cashed out.

In an interview Sunday with NBC News’ “Meet the Press,” Brown told host Chuck Todd that building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border is not the “Christian thing” to do because those living here illegally are “children of God, they should be treated that way.” Well, I say so is everyone else who broke our laws. Should we then close all the prisons? Scratch that. Your Dems would get way to many votes.
