Philippians 4:7. Sandy Kay (Portier) Nugent was born July 5, 1968, in Greensburg, La., raised in Livingston Parish and a resident of Marksville, La. She is survived by her husband, Keith Nugent; son, Devin Rachal; stepson, Joshua Nugent; mother, Stella Ballard Portier; mother and father in-law, Barbara and Jimmy Nugent; brothers and sister-in-laws, Tommy and Debbie Portier; Robert and Judy Portier; Clay and Mellisa Portier; sisters and brothers in-law, Betty and Ken Stafford; Debbie and Huey (Jr.) White; Linda Portier and Ernest Guidry; Vickey Turner; Susan and Mike Lauret; Brenda and Mike Alexander; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Bernard Portier Sr.; brother, Sidney Anthony Portier Sr.; and grandparents, Clay and Estellina Ledet Portier; Willie Oscar (Bill) and Elmer Hood Ballard. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Livingston on Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 5 p.m to 9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Ray Johnson. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
