A ceremony celebrating the life of Mr. Grady D. “Pop” Bair was held Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Fundamental Baptist Church. Interment followed in Colyell Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Church Funeral Services of Livingston Parish. Mr. Bair was born on Feb. 18, 1940, in Menifee County, Ky., and passed from this life on Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at his home in French Settlement at the age of 76 years. He was a retired Boiler Maker Welder with Local 582. He was loved by his family and friends. All those that loved him called him “Pop”.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Alice Lawson Bair; daughter, Lois Hughes; son, Timothy Bair; and siblings, Christine, Demry, Stanley, Grover, Shelby and Charles Jr. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Brenda Lindsey Bair; daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Kip Keen; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Bridgette Bair; grandchildren, Braileigh, Braden, Brodie, Zach, Brailan and Trevor; sisters, Irene Hardlicka, Athelene Brown and Audreu Bailey; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Kip Keen, Cargle Hall, Jody Gautreau, Brad Carpenter, Campbell Palmer and Tommy Berthelot. Visitation was held Wednesday, Aug. 24, until service at the church, 24236 S. Frost Road, Livingston. He will forever be in our hearts, mind and soul; Rest In Peace Pop.
