Francis Lou Moncrief Bowling, age 84 of Holden, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 4, 2017. 

Services will be held at Magnolia Baptist Church in Holden on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will commence on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. with burial following at Stafford Cemetery. 

Francis became "Maw Maw" to all who crossed her path and was very proud of her family. She was an enthusiastic seamstress and loved any chance to put her cooking skills to good use. 

Francis was born to the late Grady Moncrief and Juel Vaughn Moncrief in Pineville on January 7, 1933. She is survived by her children, Randy Camp and wife, Mary Hope; Joseph Bowling and wife, Shelly; Elbert Bowling and wife, Bennie; and Robyn Bowling. She is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, 10 grandchildren, including Joshua Jones and Robyn Robertson, who she raised as her own, along with numerous great grandchildren and countless friends. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Allen Bowling; daughter, Kathy Bowling; and grandson, Jacob Ballard.
