LIVINGSTON – Early voting begins Saturday, April 15 for single-item ballots in three Livingston Parish precincts.

Voters in Town of Livingston Precinct 29, Town of Killian Precinct 32 and Village of Precinct 34 can make their choices from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Monday through Friday and Saturday April 22 at the Registrar of Voters Office on 29938 South Magnolia Avenue, according to Registrar of Voters Jared Andrews.

Voting will not take place Sunday.

In French Settlement, voters will select a new police chief in the runoff race between Harry Brignac and Waylon Stafford.

Killian voters will decide on a 1-cent sales tax, while a 10-mil property tax for recreation tops the slate in the Town of Livingston.
