This year at North Live Oak Elementary School, Jessica Walock’s 4th grade class has buddied with Dawn Rawlins’ kindergarten class for some exciting learning.

They started in December making Christmas decorations for their classes.

In February, they played “Heart Bingo” with CVC words, which are word that have a consonant-vowel-consonant pattern like the word “cat.”

Next, for the 100th day of school, they did some outside physical fitness activities.

Finally, on Dr. Seuss Day, the kindergarten enjoyed The Lorax play performed by Walock’s class for all of the kindergarten classes.

They ended that day eating green eggs and ham and charting the results with Ms. Rawlins’ class.

It has been a very fun experience for both classes.
