Members of the mixed ensemble at the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts in Natchitoches won the district sweepstakes trophy after competing in the LMEA District II large ensemble assessment. To receive the sweepstakes trophy, the ensemble must score a superior in both performance and sight reading. This accomplishment qualifies the group to participate in the LMEA regional/state large ensemble to be held in April at Pineville High School.
