Fashion in Paradise was the theme for the 2017 Livingston Parish 4-H Fashion Revue held recently at South Fork Elementary in Walker.

4-H members from across the parish participated in this event.

The contestants were required to sew a garment and turn it in prior to the contest for them to be judged on the construction.

The contestants then participated in the appearance judging where they wore their garments and modeled in a Fashion Show.

A total of eighteen 4-H members participated in eight divisions.

The winners in the Apron division were: 1st Place Kindal Coates, French Settlement Elementary, 2nd Place Layla Wheat, South Fork Elementary, and 3rd Place Cordelia Carlin, Livingston Parish Homeschool Club.

Winners in the Skirt division were: 1st Place Alyssa McLin, Doyle Elementary, 2nd Place Cameron Thames, Levi Milton Elementary, and 3rd Place Cara Thomason, South Fork Elementary.

The winners in the Shorts division were: 1st Place Ethan Evers, South Fork Elementary and 2nd Place Abby Schwartz, Lewis Vincent Elementary.

In the Dress division the winner was 1st Place Autumn Herring, Holden School, and in the Sportswear division the 1st Place winner was Alyssa Wascom, Live Oak Middle.

Skylar Brandon from Springfield High was 1st Place in the Senior Special Occasion division, and Cassidy Charpentier from Doyle High was 1st Place in the Senior Pants and Ready-to-Wear divisions.

In the Just for Fun Jr. Division the winners were: 1st Place Autumn Herring, Holden School, 2nd Place Cameron Thames, Levi Milton Elementary, and 3rd Place Abby Schwartz, Lewis Vincent Elementary.

The Overall Jr. Sew with Cotton winner was Autumn Herring, Holden School, and the Overall Sr. Sew with Cotton winner was Cassidy Charpentier, Doyle High.
