Dr. Rachel Courtney Lee and Dr. Nicholas Grant Keaton, both of San Antonio, Texas, will be united in marriage on July 16, 2016, at White Oak Plantation in Baton Rouge. The bride-elect is the daughter of Wesley and Shannon Wax Lee of Denham Springs. She is the granddaughter of Douglas and Sharlet Whitehead Wax of Denham Springs and Garner and Marlene McKinnon Lee of Central. The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Denham Springs High School. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a BS in Biology in 2011. She is a 2015 graduate of Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport. She is employed as an Emergency Medicine Resident Physician at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. The groom-elect is the son of Mark and Teresa Gathings Keaton of Fairview Heights, Ill. He is the grandson of Joe Gathings of Dyer, Tenn., Ann Samples of Humbolt, Tenn., Verna Keaton of New Boston, Ohio, and the late Addison Keaton. The groom-elect is a 2007 graduate of Northwood High School in Shreveport. He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a BS in Biology in 2011. He is a 2015 graduate of Louisiana State University Health Science Center. He is a Captain in the United States Air Force and Internal Medicine Resident Physician at San Antonio Military Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
