Kammy Gerkin and Chad LeBlanc Jr. will be united in marriage on October 27, 2017, at The Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis J Gerkin, Jr., Denham Springs are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kammy Alice Gerkin, to Chad Anthony LeBlanc, Jr.

The bride is a resident of Denham Springs.

Kammy graduated from Live Oak High School in 2010. She earned a bachelor of science in biology in 2014 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016, both from Southeastern Louisiana University.

She is currently a registered nurse at Baton Rouge General Medical Center.

Her grandparents are Alice Bentley of Walker; Billy Ray Husser (deceased); Capt. Louis J. Gerkin, Sr., of Amite; and Darlene Raines of Morganton, N.C.

The groom is a resident of Lafayette.

Chad graduated from Woodlawn High School in Baton Rouge in 2009 and Louisiana State University in 2015.

He is currently an environmental consultant at Location + Design, LLC.

The groom's parents are Vicki LeBlanc of Baton Rouge and Chad LeBlanc, Sr., of Baton Rouge.

His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Allen (both deceased); Sidney LeBlanc of Ventress, La.; and Cindy Galtier of Jarreau, La.

The wedding is scheduled for October 27, 2017, at The Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
